Roadside assistance in Huntington Beach
Not every stop needs a tow. Call (714) 785-6449 and say “roadside” if you want a jump, a spare tire mounted, a small amount of fuel, or help with a lockout. If the car still should not be driven, the same call becomes a tow to a place you name.
Jump starts
Dead batteries pile up in the Huntington Beach Pier lots, the Main Street parking structure, and the Bolsa Chica lots, especially after a car sits with the fan running. A jump is the first try. If the engine starts and then dies once the cables come off, the battery may not be the whole story. The charging system can leave you stuck a second time. Say so if that has already happened. The practical next step is a tow to a shop, not another jump in a different parking row.
There is no separate jump-start page. The old address for that service points here.
Flat tires
If the car has a usable spare, the job is to mount it and check that it holds air. If the spare is missing, flat, or the locking lug key is gone, say that on the call. The car will need a tow to a tire shop. Beach Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway are poor places to discover the spare after the truck is already beside you.
Fuel
Running out on Pacific Coast Highway, on Beach Boulevard, or on the 405 shoulder is a small delivery, enough to reach a station. Say gas or diesel. This is not a fill-up of the tank.
Lockouts
Keys in the car at a beach lot or outside a shop on Beach Boulevard are a lockout, not a tow, when nothing else is wrong. Tell the dispatcher the vehicle and whether a child or an animal is inside. That changes how the call is handled.
